Following a personal consultation, our experts will hand select wines to match your tastes.
The consultation can be held either in the comfort of your home or our retail outlet based in Ilkley, West Yorkshire LS29 9NJ. If you do not want a consultation then simple pick the wines you want to appear on your gift list and email them to shop@martinez.co.uk. For smaller lists a telephone consultation may suffice. N.B. Home consultations must be within 25 miles of Ilkey and have an estimated list value of no less than £2000.
Once your choices have been made we will upload your list onto our site www.wines4life.co.uk where you friends and family can simply order some of your selections or donate a monitory amount towards your cellar choices. Your wine list closes on a date selected by you when you will be sent a detailed list of the wines purchased and by who. You will then have a chance to to adjust the list and purchase wines, wine racks, cork screw etc. with any monetory donations. Once you are happy with your wines for life they will be delivered for free, on a date and to a location of your choice. N.B. Monetory donations must be spent on products supplied by Martinez wines and cannot be refunded by way of cash or cheque.

About laying down wines
Buying a wine today that is drinking well in ten years may cost £25-£35 or even more but what do you think it would cost if you bought it in ten years time £100, £200, £300? It’s a tough question and one which is tricky to be precise on but at Martinez we have the experience to pick wines which will not only taste great in the future but could well be turned into a tasty little investment.
You do not need a cellar to keep your wines in. In a cardboard box, in a cupboard or under the bed would suffice, as long as the wine is out of the daylight and is at a constant moderate temperature, it will be fine.
